It's still a bit early to recommend for production sites,
like any ".0"
release, but the issues aren't Maia-related so much as with
the
supporting Perl modules SpamAssassin relies on for some of
its plugins.
The SPF module in particular needs to be updated by its
author (or a
one-line patch applied to the current version) in order to
make that
plugin work.
There are also some changes in the required Perl modules,
so
configtest.pl will be updated soon to test for those, and
amavisd-maia
will be updated to preload those at startup to speed things
up a bit.
Functionally, the most significant change is the addition of
the
sa-compile utility, which is essentially a rules compiler.
Whenever you
run sa-update now, you need to follow it up with
sa-compile.
