delivery temporarily suspended: unknown mail transport error

I'm not sure if this is a postfix _or_ a maia error...

I've been seeing a LOT of messages like this:

Jun 22 13:56:08 hector.clarku.edu postfix/qmgr[26361]:
36F8156CFD7: 
to=<marshlibraryclarku.edu>, relay=none, delay=510502,
status=deferred 
(delivery temporarily suspended: unknown mail transport
error)


I have added a few more LDAP maps.  So I'm thinking either
amavisd-maia 
is crapping out, ( but I'm not seeing anything in the log)
or else the 
new ldap canonical map is causing timeouts or something.

Anyone have any idea?  I'm reluctant to take this to the
postfix list 
because Wietse will flame me.
