 Hi

I'm just fighting to get my Maia running smooth again, running Suse
10.0 and Maia 10.0.2. I have some problems with my postfix, well I
think its the postfix. Once you have restarted it runs fine for about 5
min and then stops processing mail and I have to restart postfix.
looking at the mail log /var/log/mail I get this; warning: connect to
transport local: Connection refused mail stops coming through, now I have a crontab
starting postfix every 5 min.

If you could a little more information please.  Are you using only
local or virtual users and what is your default transport.  My
suspicion is that postfix is not sending mail into amavisd and that is
your transport error.  If you stop your routing to amavisd (through
Yast) and send yourself an email do you still get the error?
