These warnings are telling you that you've enabled the DKIM
plugin (in
one of your *.pre files), but that you haven't actually
installed the
DKIM-related Perl modules it requires. This is harmless as
far as
process-quarantine.pl is concerned, but it means that
SpamAssassin won't
be able to use the DKIM tests when amavisd-maia scans mail.
Either
comment out the DKIM loadplugin line(s) in your *.pre files,
or install
the necessary DKIM Perl modules.
> reporter: SpamCop message older than 2 days, not
reporting
This is common; SpamCop's policy is to reject reports of
spam that are
more than 48 hours old. Other services (Razor, Pyzor, DCC)
will still
accept older spam reports, though, so it's not a total loss.
The
message is essentially just advising you that SpamCop
refused the
report; reports to other services may still have been
completed
successfully (if you have any configured, of course).
Ideally you should be running process-quarantine.pl quite
frequently--every hour or so, or every few hours. This not
only keeps
your Bayes database current, it more importantly gives the
reporting
services the freshest information in time to be useful to
others like
yourself, who consult those services as a spam check.
Remember, when
you scan a mail item and you ask Razor, Pyzor, DCC, or
SpamCop for a
judgment about it, you're counting on reports having been
filed by
hundreds of thousands of other people who have already seen
and reported
that item; if everyone waited 48 hours or more to submit
their reports,
these services would be useless, since there would be no
reports on file
at the time you receive your copy.

These are harmless warnings that result from the way the
FuzzyOCR plugin
was written. It does not expect there to be another
SpamAssassin object
in memory at the same time (as there is when you're running
both
amavisd-maia and process-quarantine.pl), so it's simply
reporting that
it can see another copy of itself in memory. Future
versions of
process-quarantine.pl will work to suppress these annoying
warnings, but
you can rest assured that they're harmless.

That's the typical result you should expect from a
successful run.

Skipping mail item
> 4934515 (too big: 423478 > 262144)
This is normal as well--the $sa_mail_body_size_limit setting
in your
amavisd.conf file prevents SpamAssassin from wasting
resources scanning
large items, and the $default_max_size setting in your
maia.conf file
similarly protects the process-quarantine.pl script.
Without this
protection, huge mail items can choke your server.

Thanks for the quick reply.
I have Mail KIM and Mail::SpamAssassin::plugin: KIM installed - running SA 318.
Running on Suse10sp1 (I think this started after installing SP1) not sure but I went back and REMed out the DKIM statement.
I'm running the process-quarantine.pl every hour - I thought the "older than 2 days was from the users who didn't tag the mail as spam within 2 days.
Thanks for a great product and taking the time to answer and support it!
