I've checked the web interface and it's gone, however I did
get some more
details. I figured out the corresponding ID tags from
amavis and the
maia_mail table, so I was able to lookup any quarantined
emails without the
DB timing out...(thanks for indexing!)
It looks like the user clicked on the Release/Whitelist in
the digest,
according to the http logs, but it failed to log them in
apparently and
didn't actually rescue the email. The user then clicked on
confirm all
remaining items a few minutes later, which did successfully
log in and
confirm everything, and I assume also deleted the legit
quarantined email.
I later found out the user added the whitelist entry
manually after the
fact, which is what threw me off in the first place.
I've had to click on a link a few times in the Digest to get
it to login
successfully, not sure why, just seems every now and then
the links will
fail to properly login. Guess I need to make the Digest
more specific and
put a warning about it failing to login and confirm, etc.
Sorry to be so long winded.... So at this point I'm not
sure if this truly
is operator error, which I'm leaning towards now, or
something quirky with
my install. I'm running 1.01 on FC5.
