Configtest.php says everything is OK, but I still only get
the text charts, and I couldn't find any notes regarding
version 1.0.2(a).

They're functional, but they're still far from
"pretty"--they need a bit
more polishing before they'll be anything to brag about To use
them,
you need to first enable the feature on your System
Configuration page
(in the Charts section near the bottom of the page). From
there, it's a
per-user option that needs to be set on the user's Settings
page
("Display graphic charts?").

> - Email aliases: I have a couple of postfix aliases
that drop into my regular mailbox, but I can't add new email
addresses to my Maia account without a password. Being an
alias, this is not a real account, and thus does not have a
password. So how do I check what Maia is doing with the
emails sent to this address?

You can handle this at least two different ways:

(1) You can have Postfix do the aliasing upstream from
amavisd-maia, so
that they get aliased together before amavisd-maia sees the
mail. This
ensures that no matter how many aliases you have,
amavisd-maia will only
ever see one consistent address. The downside is that this
will
probably involve some address-rewriting, so the address
amavisd-maia
ultimately sees may not match what it was when Postfix
received it. See
<
http://www.maiamailguard.com/maia/wiki/Addresses> for
more about this
topic.

(2) You can link those aliases to your main Maia account by
doing so as
an administrator, from the Admin->Users page. Go to the
"Add New Email
Address/Alias" section, add the address of the alias,
and it will create
a new Maia account for that address. Then go to the next
section on the
page ("Link E-mail Address/Alias") and link that
new address to your
main Maia account. Thereafter, mail that arrives for either
address
will be assigned to your Maia account, and you should see
two email
addresses on your Settings page.

I've done both of these under my own account - enabled from
the System Config
page, then enabled from my own settings page. At first I
thought it was because
of the lack of emails to work with, but Maia has been
running for over a day and
has seen a few hundred emails pass through my account now,
so there's plenty of
data to work with. Any other ideas?

Excellent! That worked perfectly.

Make sure that you've got the Image_graph PEAR module
properly installed
(and patched, if you're using version 0.7.2, see
<http
://www.maiamailguard.com/maia/ticket/326>).

Bear in mind that the charts are only displayed on the Stats
page, and
you need to have enabled stats-tracking (on the System
Configuration
page). The full path to the chart font is set in the
config.php file.

None of the current charts display time-based information
(e.g. items
per hour/day/week/etc.)--that's waiting on the 1.1.x series,
which
collects stats in a manner that makes this sort of tracking
easier to
do. The current chart display is just a pie chart that
breaks down the
items received by mail type--as I said, nothing to brag
about, just a
proof-of concept in this version
