Hi List,

I've been using Maia Mailguard for a couple of years now and
simply love it (almost as much as my users). I typically
implement it with openSuSE (my particular favorite flavor),
and have been wanting to write a beginner's installation /
maintenance guide for the community. (Similar to the
current community guide published for SLES 10).

Now that openSuSE has a fresh release (10.3) it may be a
good time. But I wanted to first see if there were any
plans for an upcoming release any time soon (which I would
probably wait for) so that I'm not writing for 1.0.2a only
to have 1.0.3 released soon after.

Anyone know of any ballpark (give or take a couple months)
release dates? Typically releases have come at the end of
the year. Can we expect a similar schedule? Again, thanks
so much to the developers of Maia Mailguard, it's a great
solution.

You should be safe installing 1.0.2a for the foreseeable
future. No new
features are planned for 1.0.x (as far as I know) with all
new
development in 1.1.x. Perhaps Robert or David will comment
on 1.1.0.
Generally it will be "when it's ready" as both of
these guys are very busy.
