Our Maia server is performing very well. Server load barely
ever exceeds 10%.
One problem that has been sporadic for months has been the
rejecting of valid recipients. It only
shows up maybe once per week (that I know of).
The log shows no valid reason why it rejected the recipient,
yet the address is clearly valid in the Aliases file.
One area I think is suspect are the settings in the MAIN.CF
file:
address_verify_poll_count = 6
address_verify_poll_delay = 1s
I'm afraid to touch these settings as any other setting
seems to 'screw' up validation.
I also have the cached validation set :
address_verify_map = btree:/var/mta/verify
The directory contents indicates the cached verify is
working:
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 7565312 Dec 5 12:56 verify.db
Anyone have their verification settings different ? How are
they working ?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
