This may or may not be the appropriate place to ask, but
here goes anyway. I have been following the Mail Scanning
Gateway Guide for SLES 10 from Novell. I have followed the
documentation exactly, but seem to be having problems and am
not sure if it is a SpamAssassin problem, a Maia Mailguard
problem or something else.

When I run a test against SpamAssassin using the GTUBE-junk
test, it is supposed to come back with a spam score and a
listing of the tests that were triggered. All I get is the
following:

(no report template found)

Has anyone else had this problem, or point me in a direction
to start troubleshooting?

Thanks.

Brian Kesting

That report template is part of the standard SpamAssassin
installation,
in the 10_misc.cf file, so if SpamAssassin is having trouble
finding
that file, it's probably also having trouble finding other
standard
rules as well. Possibly the path to the rules directory is
wrong, or
inaccessible due to a chroot. It's also possible that
you're clearing
the template in your local.cf file with
clear_report_template.

At the very least, adding the -D flag to your SpamAssassin
test should
highlight any other configuration problems that need to be
addressed.
