Nothing gets /dev/null-ed, it just falls through to the next
level of
the user hierarchy:
(1) Specific users (e.g. user domain)
(2) Domain-default users (e.g. domain)
(3) The system-default user (e.g. .)
So if you have a domain called " example.com" and mail
arrives for
"joe example.com", Maia looks for the following
matches, in this order:
(1) Is there an account associated with "joe example.com"? If so, use
that account's filter settings, quarantines, and caches,
which are
managed by the user himself. If not...
(2) Is there a domain account associated with " example.com"? If so,
use that account's filter settings, quarantines, and caches,
which are
managed by a domain administrator. If not...
(3) Assign the mail to the global catch-all account
" ." and use its
filter settings, quarantines, and caches, which are managed
by the
super-administrator.
