MAIA Imap, Exchange and login length

Hi,

We are using maia with auth. against an Exchangeserver but
with
$auth_method = "imap";.

Now there is a problem by users with 20 letters in
emailadress, they
can't login in MAIA. Is there an char-limit in MAIA/IMAP?

The database storage for usernames/emails is 255
characters.
