Hi. amavisd?

Hi I used Maia on my old company we installed like 2 years a
go.. it 
worked great.. now I am in another company
and I am looking for my options again for this... my
question is.. does 
Maia still has the incompatibility with
newer amavisd-new?

Also my system is live.. it working as we speak fine with 
spamassasin/amavisd-new etc..
if I were to implement Maia how hard will it be? the last
time I did it 
while migrating to postfix so I had all the time of the
world
to set it up and configure it.. now I don't.
Also I remember some good comrade wrote ebuilds for Gentoo
that was long 
time a go if he reads this..
are you still maintaining those?
