Localized templates

Has anyone developped some kind of modules, or would it be
possible to
include in some future release of Maia the possibility to
include localized
versions of the templates?
Living in Switzerland, my customers may speak French,
German, Italian or
English.
Would it be possible to retrieve the language preference of
the user for the
digests and the quarantine reminders?
I think it should also be possible to retrive the default
domain language to
send a localized version of the new user email.

For now, I've modified the templates to be multiligual and
have a section in
each language, but I don't think it looks really nice.

This has been on the todo list for a while:

In addition to locale, I have some changes to make to allow
for per-domain
customization.  Allowing for n languages * m domains  makes
it a bit complicated.
