Mantis works but drawing pages incorrectly 1.0.6

Hi,
Please bear with me on this one, I need some help after spending 2 days surfing the web I am at a loss. ; I have moved a copy of mantis from one host to another for testing an upgrade (From 1.0.0rc1 to 1.0.0.6) and ran successfully.  Post upgrade I wanted users to have a look at the test system to verify the upgrade.

I had several problems doing this, primarily I could not access the login page due to SSL being used and now running on a different machine.  I disabled SSL through the httpd.conf and now I can see the login page BUT it does not display properly (even from the localhost).  The login page has no background colour or table around the login "box". ; When I login I can see the list of bugs but the icons for editing (little pen) and priority (chevron sign) are not shown (just a box with a red 'X'; instead as if the graphic is missing) and again the tables are now drawn correctly again the background colour is white and not what it is configured to. (blue for the test box).

I have checked the installation using the administration page and nothing is labelled as BAD, all is GOOD. ;

Mantis Version : 1.0.0.6
Apache Version : 2.0.53
PHP Version: 4.3.10

To me it seems like a permission thing, but whatever I try I seem to make things worse and have to revert back to this configuration.  Can you please point me in the right direction to look at solving this issue?

Many thanks and kind regards

Shawn

It sounds like you can't access the subdirectories under
the main
Mantis directory. The images and css files are in
subdirectories.

Aside from permissions, the path that Mantis is using may
be
incorrect. Can you check the URL for the images to see if it
is
correct? The $g_path variable is Mantis' attempt to figure
out the
path to the installation.

Thanks Glenn,

As much as I checked (or at least thought I checked) this setting it seemed OK.  Anyway I reset this setting and restarted the apache server and it is now good!

Thanks

Shawn.
