I've wondered about this as well. The obvious solution is
to create two
separate Mantis installations, with some loss of convenience
(shared user
data etc).
Another way could be to use a combination of bug id and
project and unique
identifier for a bug. But that's probably a lot of changes
in the SQL
code...
The reason I see for this is that it would shield better
different
projects. You wouldn't see an indicator for the activity on
other projects
(where you might not have access to) through the bug id.
