Images not visible

Question - Is there a tool that allows administrators to
remove or
truncate old issues? Or is it a manual process, i.e., you
have a range
of mantis issues and you go through each of the tables
removing that
range? We have issues from 2002 - 2004 that are no longer
commonly
looked at.

I had thought it would be nice to have a "static"
Mantis website which
would allow access to old information - sort of knowledge
base without
allowing users to add new issues to said static site. The
"live" site
would remain for issues starting at 2005 on. Any suggestions
or ideas if
anyone has implemented something similar are appreciated.
