Not an answer to your question, but in case it's not
possible already,
maybe you could look into factoring the authentication into
a plugin
type of system - I'd love to have AD authentication that
Just Works(tm)
with Mantis. I've tried using LDAP but I couldn't get it
to work; if it
were possible to write a small authentication plugin I'd
use
http://adldap.sourcefo
rge.net/ and be done with it. But last time I
looked (which was admittedly quite a while ago), it was
pretty hard
(read: scattered across multiple places) to add another
authentication
system to Mantis.
Could you report back to this list when you have your
solution working
what you had to do to add your authentication system? Maybe
I'll have
another go at it.
