Hi Victor,

thanks for this information. We have already a mantis
installation running. The database holds around 10000 bung
entries. Out of this reason I'll think it's a better idea to
copy the existing database and migrate the copied one to the
release 1.1.0a3.

Just for clarification, are there any changes on the bugnote
table? I ask, because I'd like to use SCMBug to connect our
Subversion with mantis and SCMBug supports only release
0.19.0 and 1.0.0 RC3

Hi Dominique,

I see a lot of people (including Mantis team) who use
1.1.0a3 in production.  It is pretty stable.  One of the
main reasons for not releasing it as a stable version yet is
that we don't have an easy upgrade path for existing
installations that use a non-latin characterset.  For new
installations this is not an issue since you will start off
with UTF-8, it is also not an issue if you are starting or
upgrading an English installation.

Yep, it is always a good idea to make try the upgrade on a
backup
first. and to have some backup somewhere safe 

There is an additional field for time tracking feature which
was added
in 1.1.0a3.  This should not break scmbug since the field
should be
defaulted to 0 when not supplied.
