Which web extensions environment are you experiencing these
issues with?
I have never seen it in PHP and wonder if it is a bug in the
.NET or
Java implementation of the web extensions.

Thanks,
Bob

Subject: [MapGuide-Users] RE: Logins gone?

This has happened to me on quite a few occasions (logging
into MapServer
Studio only, I can still login to the MapAdmin/login.php
setup page with
no problems). One minute I can log in with the default
"Administrator/admin" account (I didn't change
it from the default), and
next thing I know it gives me an error saying "Invalid
User ID/Password"
and I can't login again unless I reinstall the
WebExtensions.

What I end up doing is create a backup of the WebExtensions
folder,
reinstall the MapServer WebExtensions, replace the folder
with my
backup, and it works again. I have no idea why this happens
tho,
especially since I am copying over the exact same files that
were there
before...

Hi,

Today a user tried to connect to a server that I set up for
experimentation. His login did not work. I tried my admin
user/password and they did not work either. Anybody have
some
troubleshooting steps for me?

I'm guessing that I have a corrupt site and that I'll have
to reinstall,
which isn't too bad in this case. Is there any way to
avoid this, or to
mitigate the effects? It's always possible that both of us
recorded the
wrong passwords but...

Thanks,
Jason

I have had it occur with the .NET extension.

Only once so far...
