I am about to connect to an MMSC with a proprietary XML Post
interface.
This is not MM7 (nor any other MM?).

Basically I want to be a VAS (sending MT MMS messages and
possibly receiving
MO messages and optionally reply to them).

If I want to start implementing an mBuni driver for this
thing, do I patch
mmsbox or does it make more sense to make a driver for
mmsrelay at once?
I figure in the latter case, more flexibility is created
because we can use
the same driver for inter-mmsc purposes.

Hi Rene,

  The right place for this is mmsbox (VAS GW part of Mbuni).
If you  
look in there, there are two functions for talking to an
MMSC. One  
for MM7/SOAP the other for MM7/EAIF. mmsbox decides which to
call  
based on the 'type' of the MMSC (as specified in the
config). Note  
however that MM7/SOAP handling is backed by a library that
handles  
the message format. It should be easy to mimic all this if
you have  
the proprietary format spec.
