Hello Everyone,

I have mm7 connectivity with my Operator's MMSC. I
configured the MM7 "mmsc"
group settings for my operator in Mbuni config. I would like
to know how
will I be able to push messages over MM7 to my operator ,
because right now
, if I try to push a mms using mmssend , it says in logs

2008-03-20 11:54:40 [7768] [9] INFO: Failed Global Queue MMS
Send: From
emaildomain.com, to 9XXXXXXXX/TYPE=PLMN, msgsize=20881:
err=MMSC error:
Don't know how to deliver to 9XXXXXXXX/TYPE=PLMN !

I know I have to define a mmsproxy group in my mbuni
configuration to route
messages to a specific mmsc, but I am unable to find MM7
configuration for
mmsproxy , the documentation on the web also describes
setting for MM4 only.

Here's my mbuni configuration file.

group = core
log-file = /var/log/kannel/mbuni.log
access-log = /var/log/kannel/mbuniaccess.log
log-level = 0

group = mbuni
name = "My MMSC"
hostname = mmsc.aeon.pk
 host-alias = mmsc
 local-mmsc-domains = mmsc.aeon.pk
 local-prefixes = 99
 storage-directory = /tmp/spool
 max-send-threads = 5
 send-mail-prog = /usr/sbin/sendmail -f '%f' '%t'
 unified-prefix = "99"
 maximum-send-attempts = 1
 default-message-expiry = 360000
 queue-run-interval = 0.1
 send-attempt-back-off = 300
 sendsms-url = http://localho
st:13003/cgi-bin/sendsms
 sendsms-username = haku
 sendsms-password = tata
 mms-port = 1981
 mm7-port = 1982
 billing-module-parameters =
"/var/log/kannel/mbunicdr.log"
 content-adaptation = true
 notify-unprovisioned = yes

group = mmsc
id = aeon
group-id = telefun
mmsc-url = http://user:passoperatormmsc.com/mm7tomms.sh
incoming-username = test
incoming-password = test
incoming-port = 1982
type = soap
allowed-prefix = 91

I hope someone will be able to answer my query or point me
to the right
direction.

Thanks & Best Regards,

Aamir Jamil

Looks like you are trying to run mbuni as an mmsc instead of
a vas
gateway. For the latter you need the core group, at least
one mmsc
group and at least one mms-service group in the conf, and
you are good
to go.
