Release times of mediawiki

What the hell is the reason for 3 days for new releases. Or
even NULL 
days! (from 1.8.0 to 1.8.1 on 11.10.2006). There are a lot
of people who 
intend to install the newest stable software and invest a
lot of time in it.

Please mark new releases as what they are. Stable, Alphas,
Minors, Beta, 
Patches.
