How to change "Main Page" displayed on home page?

Thanks. This is probably the correct approach. But how do we
escape  
the curly brackets? After I edited Monobook.js to include
this code  
and the loaded the home page and did a "view
source", it showed that  
the script's document.write ends after the ending curly
bracket on  
the style.
