May 16, 2007 - Engineer Comments About Odd Aerial "Drones"?

Over Lake Tahoe and Central California.
  Click for report.

"The design strategy of charged ion / shaped plasma 'buoyancy' devices
does bear some relevancy here. For instance, the circular array of curved 'antennae'
coming out of the center of the device is very similar to a form of wave guide / shaping mechanism for a charged plasma / ion field."

"This is the first time we have detected dark matter as having a
unique structure that is different from both the gas and galaxies in the cluster."

May 15, 2007 - Half Rabbit and 10 Others Found Dead
At Long Beach City College, California.

"This number of rabbits at the same time certainly piqued our interest.
The rabbits are part of our campus for good or bad and we try not to hurt them."

- Eloy Oakley, Superintendent-President, LBCC

Rabbits have cohabited with students for 80 years at the
Long Beach City College in California. So, the eleven dead rabbits discovered
on Monday, May 14, 2007, including the front half of one "cut off perfectly in half with
precision" is unprecedented.  Image © 2007 by Steven Georges/Press-Telegram.

On Monday, May 14, 2007, Long Beach City College gardener, Jeff Kyle, found eleven dead rabbits on the northern side of Carson Avenue near the college's English and Language Arts building. Kyle told the school's Viking Newspaper that the front half of one rabbit "was cut off perfectly in half with precision." No blood was described. The week before, two opossoms had been found - one mutilated - at the El Dorado Nature Center about 4.5 miles southwest of the Long Beach college. Anyone with information should call LBCC police at (562) 938-4807.

May 14, 2007 - Most Toxic West Coast Algae Bloom in Years
Is Killing Sea Lions, Dolphins and Sea Birds.

“The concentration of the toxin is so great this year that we
haven't had a chance to react to it. Normally we are able to flush out
the toxin with a treatment regimen to the birds we care for. This
year they're just coming in dead.”
- Lisa Birkle, Asst. Dir.,
Wetland and Wildlife Care Center, Huntington Beach, Calif.

Mammal Center in Laguna Beach, tried to help a rescued sea lion through
a seizure. It's one of the sea lions rescued off local beaches with domoic acid poisoning
that causes brain damage and is often fatal. Image © 2007 Orange County Register.

California issued a quarantine May 10, 2007, on locally harvested shellfish, sardines, lobster and other seafood after a huge sea algae bloom has released domoic acid into the Pacific Ocean between San Francisco and San Diego. More than a thousand sea lions, at least fifty dolphins and hundreds of sea birds have died and washed up on California beaches, while many more marine animals, including whales, are ill.

In mammals, including humans, domoic acid acts as a neurotoxin, causing short-term memory loss, brain damage, and death in severe cases. In marine mammals, domoic acid typically causes seizures and tremors. Experts say little can be done to save infected animals once the toxin causes brain damage.

May 12, 2007 - Scientists Puzzled by Metal That Fell Into NJ House.

Wednesday morning, January 3, 2007, this metal object
weighing about 13 ounces fell through the roof of a two-story house
in Freehold Township, New Jersey. The object broke bathroom floor tiles as it
bounced and stuck in a wall. Freehold Township police investigators reported
the metal was not radioactive. Image courtesy Freehold Township, NJ Police Dept. (FTPD).

Scientists from Rutgers University and the American Museum of Natural History reported May 11, that the New Jersey metal object is not a meteorite. The strange metal substance has been identified as a "stainless steel alloy that does not occur in nature." The metal object fell straight down through the New Jersey house roof with some force, but what was its origin? To date, scientists still do not know.
