Hi all,
We had another release over the weekend. The major change for this
release was a new "Meeps" section that replaces the old "Friends" section.
What is a Meep? A "Mefeedia Media Peep", of course!!! Your Meeps help
you find video (and audio) shows that you may be interested in. Using
myself as an example:
What am I watching?
http://www.mefeedia.com/user/franks/
What are my meeps watching?
http://www.mefeedia.com/user/franks/meeps_network/
What is everyone watching?
(this is woven throughout each main navigation section of the site -
and more to come).
To summarize, you can (a) browse individual users, (b) browse groups
of social nets and, (c) browse everyone on mefeedia.
Thank you and we look forward to your feedback. We plan to have a new
release each week for the coming 3-4 weeks, so let us know what you
would like to see / change / etc.... all feedback is welcome!!!

Congrats meeps!
I remember when Mike first invented this idea! He was so excited about it!
Rightly so! It's such a cool concept 
I just got meeped last night by one of my Second Life/Twitter peeps!

I didn't invent the idea. ;)
I'm not that creative, and I'm way to lazy, I prefer to steal my ideas.
I blame twitter and facebook.
And I think it was Frank' s friend who half jokingly suggested "meeps" and we all laughed and then it stuck.
We're going to continue to improve your meeps network with threading (multiple activities on a video will show up on that video), and by adding more activity, such as showing the latest videos your meeps have posted to their videoblogs.
Frank also has a sweet auto-discovery tool for friends. It checks to see if any of your gmail contacts already have an account with mefeedia. Is very cool. Will hopefully be out soon.
