Mellel Documents and Find Function

Hello, I use a Mac OS 10.4.9 and when I run the find function in the finder window it only shows results of documents of .doc,.txt,.pdf. it doesn't find documents of .mell. Spotlight (the search engine behind the find function) needs a so called spotlight importer to enable searching inside the documents of a given format. Importers for .doc, .pdf and .txt are (beside others) included in Mac OS X by apple and you need to download additional importers if you like to search inside other documents. In the case of Mellel documents (either .mell or .mellel) you could download the Spotlight importer (also called Spotlight plugin) form the Redler’s website: http://www.redle rs.com/download.html Scroll down a bit (depening on your screen) download the “Mellel Spotlight plugin” and install it. Probably you have to wait some minutes before Spotlight searched for and inside your Mellel documents before you can find anything. I HAVE READ IT, AND TRIED (EVEN THE TERMINAL SUGGESTION). IT MIGHT BE MY FAULT, OR MY COMPUTER'S FAULT- IT DOESN'T CHANGE THE FACT THAT SOMETHING IS WRONG HERE- ON APPLE'S END OR ON REDLERS END, SINCE THE&NBSP;MYSTERIOUS&NBSP;REVIVAL OF THE PLUGIN POINTS TO SOME BUG.
