Hi,

the above patch fixes a glitch in the display when
{{article.body}} or
{{article.excerpt}} is used and no excerpt was entered.
Before the
patch the template rendered the string "false"
instead of an empty one.

That was changed so you could do {% if article.excerpt %}. 
Obviously
it had some bad side effects like this.

No more trivial patches until you can prove with tests that
it works

Yes. I tried this first, but it does only work for the
single.liquid
layout. Not so for the main page where Mephisto seems to set
the mode
for the Article.to_liquid call explicitly. Any hints
appreciated
(except waiting for .7 ;))
