I should mention also that this copy is not exactly the same
as the
original.
(for example I seem to have commented out the init.rb)

I think I also added "prepend_view_path
Mephisto::Plugin.view_paths[:links]" to the controller
for edge rails
compatibility.

    A reader of the group had a copy of the plugin so here it is for those also looking.

I will review it, possible refactor it if needed, and put it into a repository (further maintaining it as well) for those who need something like it.
