CR-LF in saved files

Hello,

All files that I save from meshcms have DOS/Windows specific line endings: CR, LF (0x0d,0x0a).

How can I tell meshcms to save the files using UNIX specific line ending CR only (0x0a) ?

Hi,

MeshCMS uses the line ending of the underlying platform. You
can launch
Tomcat (or whatever servlet container) specifying the
option
-Dline.separator=n to force UNIX behavior.

I already run the tomcat under Linux. To be sure, I have added the -Dline-separator parameter to tomcat startup scripts.

Still, files that I edit using meshcms->Control Panel->File Manager->Edit as a plain text,
after saving have that dreaded CR-LF line endings.

Hi,

I don't think that MeshCMS can add CR-LF to files in Linux,
but maybe
if they are already in the file it can't remove them. Do
those files
come from Windows? If you want, you can try the new
"Clean HTML"
function available on SVN (it will change your HTML
anyway).
