static export does not exports utf8 meta

Hi,

In main.jsp I have following code:

<;cms:setlocale value=&quot;en" />
<% page contentType="text/html; charset=UTF-8" pageEncoding="UTF-8" %>

<;html>
<head&gt;
<title><cms:pagetitle /></title>
&lt;meta http-equiv="Content-Type&quot; content=&quot;text/html; charset=utf-8" />
<cms:defaultcss />
<cms:pagehead />
<meta name=";description" content=&quot;<cms:info id="description&quot; />"; /

When I browse the site in meshcms, I see the meta tag with charset=utf-8 (using view source). After I do static export of the site, the tag disappears (making all unicode characters to look as gibrish).

Arieh, I can't replicate your issue. When I export, the tag
is
preserved as expected (after all, there's no code in the
static export
class that removes parts of the page).
