Multimedia captions microformat?

Dear Microformat enthusiasts,


is there any work in progress concerning multimedia captions
(which rather addresses image captions)?

If not, I'll announce an initial microformat draft within
the next one, two weeks. More on that later and as long as
there are no objections.

Isn't that just "too much" for simple multimedia
captions that just need multimedia content and caption/legal
associations?

However, I'll take a closer look at it and either try to
support that development or propose a smaller, more
manageable subset for captions - according to the process,
of course, and unless it doesn't get torpedoed, that is.

Hi Jens,

Before you announce a microformat-draft, please have a look
at the
process [1] and save yourself a _lot_ of grief.

I'm also to understand that the mailing list
microformats-new is for
discussing new microformats, though damned if I can remember
ever
getting any mail from there (?)

That's correct [1].  The list is up and running (I'm
receiving
discussions from there).  If you're having problems
receiving emails -
double check the address you're signed up with, perhaps[2]?
