By way of introduction, I am a new member of the IT team here at RSSP.

We recently received a request to evaluate a web based software package to be used for scheduling tutors at the Academic Centers in the Residence Halls. ; Given that scheduling things is rather ubiquitous, I was hoping to find out what other solutions are being used out there that may lend themselves to this purpose.

Thanks in advance,
Steve

Hello,

At the Brain Imaging Center, we are currently using some
in-house code
for scheduling and are just starting to look into other
alternatives.
As far as I can tell, the leading open-source scheduling
software is
phpscheduleit (http://www.php.brickhos
t.com/). It looks to be
widely-used and well-supported. We are just starting to
evaluate it,
so I can't say much more.

Thanks,

Microsoft licensing site access? - need Visual Studio 2005

Hail fellow Micronetters. I was wondering if anyone knew
whether or not we
have access to software downloads from Microsoft's
Licensing site:
http://licensing.micro
soft.com ? My group did sign up for the MCCA this
year, so we do have access to the MCCA downloads that TRC
has up on their
site, but they are missing Visual Studio 2005. I'm
guessing we don't have
access to downloads other than through TRC, but I figured
I'd ask just in
case.
My second question is: Does anyone have the MVLA disks for
Visual Studio
2005 that I could borrow? Thank you very much in advance.
