Luca,
Have you tried one of these?

If you use the Trilogy Locks (programmed via DL-Windows),
this is the same
converter they sent me.
I've got this converter in front of me; you are welcome to
try it out if you
like before purchasing one.

Subject: [Micronet] lap top lone and recommendation
Hi:
Does any one out there have an older lap top with a cereal
port on it. Our
lock system uses a cereal cable and programming it requires
connecting
through a 9 pin cable.
This would be a short term lone until we find a new lap top
that we can
rely on to program the door. I need to send data back and
forth for the
first month of the semester and my current laptop has
failed me.
The specs I need are a
P2 with a minimum of 128 ram. This will get me through for
the time being
and let me give new students lab access. In the mean time
does any one
know of a lap top on the market that still ships with a
serial port.
Thanks
