Oh, well. I guess just another mystery...
Aron: yes, berkeley.edu domain addresses worked OK. I
checked my
settings against the kb info and found that I had Required
alt port
instead of Required START TLS. But when I changed it, still
didn't work.
I restarted and all works now.
Thanks for your help,
Michael

I've had a user here with the same problem for two days. I
sent her the KB
article and all her setting were right. It fixed itself when
I walked into
her office this morning. Something Is Going On. Any Calmail
admins on the
list...

Yes, I am on the lists!
I called Michael, it was cleared up by restarting his
system. He
also switched back to the Alternate Port and it is still
working
fine. We have not had any other complaints, I have talked
to our sys
admins and nothing has been changed on the system.
Any other problems, please write to me and I will
investigate.
