Running a Windows command file as a scheduled job is easy
enough -
Start -> Settings -> Control Panel -> Scheduled
jobs, and fill in the
blanks. Apart from making sure the job runs as an account
with the
right rights for the task, that is easy enough.
Provided you can write a command script to shutdown Oracle
(which is
what I presume you want to do) that runs in a console window
it should
run on a schedule. If you want the Veritas software to
shutdown
Oracle, then it ought to be possible, though just setting a
common
schedule should work.
Since I am not an Oracle user, I would need a lot more
specifics to
advise on a suitable script.
