Hello,
Technical Account
Management(TAM) of IST is hosting a class on
Comparisons of Open Source & Licensed DBMS Products.
This one day seminar is intended to provide audiences with an
introductory look at the comparative advantages and disadvantages of
developing database applications on today’s most popular platforms. The
seminar will focus on Open Source (MySQL, Postgres) and licensed products
(Oracle, MS-SQL Server) and will conclude with a brief Q&A session.

Time: 9 AM to
5 PM.
Location: 74 Barrows Hall Training
Room
The course has no formal prerequisites. If there are only 10
students, the cost for the class is $200.00 per student, If there
are 16 students the class will cost $125.00 per
student. Class outline and details about the course
are listed below. Limited to 16 spaces in the course. All campus
staff are welcome to apply. If you or member of your staff would like to
