I'm looking for a free standing touch pad that works with a
desktop
computer running OS X.
Does anyone have a recommendation? Any pointers would be
greatly
appreciated.

Mark:

Have you checked with the ergonomic folks at the Tang
Center (Barbara
Pottgen or Mallory Lynch) for recommendations? They are
quite familiar with
pointing device alternatives.
