Hi All,
We have a grad student here who accidentally wiped the hard
drive of
his brand new Thinkpad Z61t, including the hidden
"restore"
partition. Oops...
In order to reinstall everything, he needs a set of restore
disks for
this model. Lenovo support says that if we can find another
Z61t,
there is a utility on it that will allow us to burn a set of
restore
disks. Barring that, the answer is to send them $60 for a
new set (a
lot of scratch for a grad student). Figured it worth a shot
to ask
here if anyone has one and can burn us a set of the disks
before we
cough up the cash. (CCRS doesn't have the disks for this
model yet-
too new).
Thanks in advance,
--
