Hi, all:
I'm trying to download an application to my smartphone over
the air.
My Explorer is apparently timing out on the link. The
company whose
software it is insists that it is a problem with my
smartphone's data
reception. They told me I should try it from another place.
They also
said the voice signal strength has nothing to do with the
data signal
strength. The phone is on AT&T and is 3G-enabled. From
my desk, it
looks like I'm getting 3G and I get 4 bars of reception. How
can I
tell what the strength or reception of my data signal is? I
don't
really feel like walking around to various street corners in
Berkeley
hoping that one of them will work.
Thanks,
Mimi
