Hello Micronetters,

Today is micronet day for me. Thanks for being there! So my current quest is to find a template that I can use to create a user manual for an application we're about to launch. My available software is MS Word (MS Office Pro 2003) or MS Publisher. I've looked through the Microsoft Online templates site, but I don't see any templates that would specifically fit a training/user manual. Need to include screenshots, text description, index, TOC, etc.

From all you experienced manualistas, any tips, pointers, suggestions greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Bond

Publisher files are read by ... Publisher. It wouldn't be a
good place
to put the core document in my opinion.

Paper only, or will it be available on the web or
electronically as
well? Something that converts well to PDF (with good
tagging) will
usually export to HTML fairly well. Always good to get as
many options
for output from one source as possible. You only want to
write/update
one master.
