Lucia,

While awaiting your reply, I went ahead and started to make
a copy for
you. And horror of horrors, my disc is also bad! There is a
defect in the
media that TRC used to make the copy that they sold us
(which was for
stock and had not been used.)

So it seems likely that TRC saved a little money by using
substandard
blank media to make a stack of Server 2003 discs.

I hope that the other Micronet poster who replied is able to
help you. I
have time to wait for TRC to make good.

Wouldn't it be fabulous if if downloadable disk images were
made
available from TRC?

I don't know about all of the TRC software, but at least
the Microsoft
media for Volume Licensing is available via this site:

  https://licensing.mi
crosoft.com/

where you can access the media and keys once authorized. You
can request
authorization by convincing either TRC, Microsoft (Taylor
Kao of MS
revealed the authorization keys at a recent MCCA meeting for
campus
folks), or perhaps someone in the IST Strategic Technology
Acquisition
office (who hosted the MCCA meeting) that you are an
appropriate person.

If you have a MCCA agreement with TRC, you can download an
"iso" image
of 2003 Server or other media you've purchased and burn the
CD yourself.

1) go here: http://esite.
shoptrc.com/myaccount.aspx
2) login with your account
3) click "software downloads", click download
next to the image.
4) If you don't already have your keycodes, click on the
software
keycodes/serial numbers.

If you don't have 2003 server listed for download or other
apps, you could
call to Jacqui Stilson (from TRC) and she could make it
available for
download *800-517-2320 ext. 244

Sometimes TRC doesn't have everything listed for download
on your account
that they should. In that case you can pursue the direct
https://licensing.mic
rosoft.com if TRC is willing to share that account
info.

Thanks,
Mike
