capture ado error

Bruce,

I have done quite a lot of VB code with Access and ADO.

If you post the code including the error handling stuff,
I'll have a look at
it.  I wonder if you might be getting an error in your error
handler. 

Also, have you checked in Options? Is "Break on all
errors" turned on?

Also, what database is ADO connecting to?  Access MDB or SQL
Server.

Also is your front-end app and MDB or an ADP?

After an hour or so I gave up.  I captured the user error
that was causing
my error and called it day.
