Hi!
We're in process of moving several older MidCOM 2.4
applications to 2.6 technology and MgdSchema.
In many of these cases it would make a lot of sense to
define a new, dedicated MgdSchema type for them instead of
using the plain `midgard_article`.
Converting the data to this new format is mostly quite easy,
with two notable exceptions:
* Created/creator data can't be synchronized between the
two objects
* The GUID changes
I'm especially concerned with the latter, as the GUID may
be used in several places like PermaLinks from external
sources.
So, could we design some way to switch the type of an object
but keep GUID? You could of course just hack the repligard
table, but not from PHP level...
/Bergie
