I agree there, Those are two different logics that shouldn9;t be mixed.

The image handling api needs to be better defined. Also, mixing avatar
avatar handling with image handling inherently causes mods to be
created. &nbsp;We need to define a api for image handling that is not tied
to avatar handling.&nbsp; There's no reason avatar handling code can't be
in the core.
