Hey Brian,
My guess is that you did not 'activate' your custom field
within the
'Product Display Layout'.... Let me know if this helps
* Goto PROD page screen
* Click on the "Product Display Layout"
* Save your current settings
* Click on Point and Click Text Link
* Activate all your custom variables that you want to use
* Click on Update
* Click on Advanced Text Link
* Reload your previous saved page
That should do it.
