OT: could it be possibly to FULLY have a website optimiced w/MIVA?

Hello all,
 
I have recently received a report from a SEO company that
says
 
"I noticed that your site uses the Miva Merchant
system. I've worked
with this system before and have found that it is impossible
to fully
optimize a website using it. Important aspects of SEO such
as meta tags,
page titles, HTML body text and formatting, cannot be
uniquely modified
page by page. Many SEO companies will request that another
shopping cart
system be used before any SEO work "
 
Is this true?. I understood that w/mm5 now we have fully
control of each
page...Am I wrong?
