Yes, but the point is will you still get emails that are

During the beta testing period - yes I was (after I pointed
out I was
having issues with receiving emails). Right now - it's
everybody who's
kicking the tires at the moment. The emails from the lists
have had
emails that were not relevant to my needs but at least I
could keep
touch with what was going on. That's why I kept requesting
something
that could notify when a new forum is created.
Keep in mind - I am not a fan of the forum idea - so I
brought up many
of the issues I didn't like and I feel that Julie and the
others at
Miva actually listened to me. I hope that the Miva Team
members
continue to provide the input that they did during the beta
period. If
not, then the forum could fail.

I'm just afraid that our concerns will see the same fate
our "Business
Development" pow wow did at the MIVA Conference this
past year.
Several of us were invited to chat face to face with the
corporate powers
that be to voice our concerns and suggestions on various
topics.
While the idea was well received and I personally enjoyed
the opportunity to
speak my mind, supposedly to those who made the
decisions....I was not
surprised at all that not one single thing that was
suggested or promised -
was ever followed through on or done.
The problem isnt MIVA as we know it, its FindWhat's
corporate influence that
is systematically destroying the company that Joe Austin
built.
Although, with the dawn of some upper level personnel
changes - I'm hoping
the new captain will right the ship and get it sailing in
the right
direction...regardless of the corporate pressures.
Obvsiously what has been happening in the last 3 years has
not worked, and
its clearly time to try a new direction.
