MS drops a good one on us.....

Where's that story? My understanding was that IE 7.0 won't
come out until
Windows Vista/Longhorn Server is released, which at this
point was predicted
by many to be Dec. 2006, but given what I've been following
in forums by
beta testers/developers, may not be until the middle of
2007.

Microsoft recommended that all pages that use ActiveX, Flash
or Java be
recoded to meet the new standards. It's optional now, but
soon a security
patch will do away with that--potentially breaking the Web
for zillions of
