textarea box attribute control

Hello list,

Moving my client to mm5 from mm4/OpenUI and am looking for
attribute control.  Namely, textarea row and column control.
 In mm4 I controlled the size of the box using OpenUI and a
third-party module  (this module has not been upgraded for
v5 yet).
Is it possible to do this with a template edit?
