Hi Ray! Nice to see you are still around - one of the last
Mohicans. And it
is a pity you decided to post again only two days before the
definitive
death of the list. Hope to see you on the web forum again
anyway!
I'll miss the list, but life is change and we have to adopt
or die too.
Big hugs to all other Miva Veterans. I bet Mr. Moon still
watches us. Where
is Jack Wilson? I heard he resurfaced from the jungle - is
it true?
Ivo

Subject: Re: [meu] MvCHAT list
No, MvChat is an old list that provided a place for off
topic (from Miva's
point of view) subjects in the Miva community. It still
seems to be in place
so I was just pointing that out. There are a lot of bounces
from my test
message, I don't know if anyone actually got the test.
If you would like to start a new MvChat or whatever I would
be happy to join
it and kill this simple list (or leave it as an off topic
resource, y'all
make the call). I have no plan to modify it.
MvChat has had no action since I went into a coma back in
2002. Prior to
that I like to think I was somewhat active in the Miva
community, but I
simply don't have the horsepower for any but the most basic
scripting now.
So if you want to start an archived list I'll be there
lurking and trying to
learn... I doubt I'll be going to forums much, not my style
and just not
convenient. There is a bond here that no forum can forge.
I will miss this list. I started here back in the HTMLscript
days and I
learned a lot from the members here. I miss Jack Wilson and
Brian Bullock, I
worked very closely with them on MvTools and it's
offspring, and that was a
lot of fun.
So long and thanks for all the code<g>
